I and a firm believer in a good skin care routine. The health of your skin is the cornerstone of maintaining your natural facial beauty for years to come. What makes a good sunscreen?

Your sunscreen needs to be a broad-spectrum, meaning that it is effective at blocking both UVA and UVB light. Use a minimum SPF (sun protective factor) of 30. I recommend a mineral sunscreen that contains titanium dioxide or zinc oxide. You also want something that will be water and sweat resistant.

How do I know what products are best for me?

Skin care can be confusing. So, if you feel lost when looking for products, know that you are not alone. I have had training specific to these products and I use them myself. If you could only pick one skincare item what would it be?

Sunscreen! Everyone should be using a good facial sunscreen daily. The UV ray exposure will do more damage to your skin than just about anything. If you are not using an effective broad-spectrum sunscreen to prevent sun damage and the premature signs of aging that it leads to then you are not going to get the maximum benefit from any other facial products on the market.
